STABILISIERUNG-DESTABILISIERUNG

In 2008 I wrote my Bachelor Thesis with the title Concepts of space creation in film, which taught me a lot about the importance of space in any kind of motion design.
The project Stabilisierung-Destabilisierung is the direct conclusion of my achievements and was a cooperation with Claus Helfenschneider.

A so-called "stabilization", a simple camera tilt from the sky to the inner courtyard of the FH Hagenberg, becomes a surreal journey as the details and distinctive features of shapes and structures begin to surface.
The continuous transformation of the filmed world becomes "destabilized" by these close-ups, which challenges the orientation of the viewer.
